Workplace Campaigns Take Off

The Ottawa Hospital Foundation is receiving tremendous support from various workplace campaigns occurring at corporate offices throughout the city.

These campaigns bring staff and management together to raise money to help The Ottawa Hospital purchase new, state-of-the-art medical equipment.

In April, employees at IT/Net rallied together to help purchase a new tourniquet machine for the Civic Campus Emergency Department. A tourniquet allows emergency staff to apply the right amount of pressure to a patient’s injured limb to reduce blood flow without causing damage. Thanks to matching funds from the company and other sponsors, the employees were able to raise an impressive $21,000!
