During an event held February 26, 2010 at the new Cancer Centre, the Foundation announced more than $24.5 million had been raised in support of the Centre’s expansion – the largest in its history.

The success of the Campaign has enabled The Ottawa Hospital to:

• Centralize nine radiation machines at the General Campus.
• Add 15 new chemotherapy chairs, for a total of 50.
• Offer more natural light, a comfortable environment, and access to outdoor areas to patients, families and staff which will help the recovery process.
