The 2007 Ottawa Hospital Lottery Is All About Choice!
Bonus Draw Sales Deadline is on February
14th
(OTTAWA, ONTARIO) – The lucky winner of
the 2007 Ottawa Hospital Lottery, which was launched this morning,
will have a very difficult choice to make.
Will the winner choose:
- Option #1 worth more than $1 million and featuring
the Montmatre, a fully furnished European-styled town home in
Ottawa’s trendy Byward Market, a 2007 Mercedes SL550 convertible,
a 7-day European canal cruise and $300,000 cash?
- Option #2, worth more than $1 million, which
includes the 3,200 square-foot eQuinelle country home on a championship
golf course near Kemptville, a 2007 Eddie Bauer Edition Ford Explorer,
a South African safari, and $350,000 cash?
- Or Option #3, also worth more than $1 million
and featuring a 2007 luxury Winnebago, a 2007 Dodge pick-up truck,
a fully loaded 30-foot Airstream trailer, camping gear, two Vespa
scooters and $500,000 cash?
- Or will they take the $800,000 cash?
The Early Bird winner will also get a choice: one of three exciting
prize packages worth more than $82,000 each. The first package features
Honda all-terrain-vehicles, a Polaris snowmobile and an 18 Karat
Gold Sapphire Diamond Ring. The second Early Bird Package features
a fantastic rafting adventure on the Nahanni River in the North
West Territories, a diamond necklace and bracelet, and $50,000 cash.
The third package includes two Harley-Davidson motorcycles for him
and her.
Those who buy their tickets before Valentine’s Day
at midnight are eligible to win a ladies 18K white gold and diamond
necklace and bracelet worth more than $28,000.
The 11th edition of The Ottawa Hospital Lottery features more than
5,100 prizes worth more than $2.3 million. And for the first time,
proceeds from the Lottery will go to cancer care at The Ottawa Hospital
for things such as new cancer operating rooms and the soon-to-be-opened
Cancer Assessment Clinic with Lung, Colorectal, Prostate and Breast
Cancer Diagnostic Units.
“You can’t lose when you buy an Ottawa Hospital Lottery
ticket,” said Susan Doyle, President and CEO of The Ottawa
Hospital Foundation. “Not only do you have a chance of winning
some amazing prizes, you’re also improving cancer care in
our community.”
Other Prize Highlights
Other prize highlights include an ultimate home makeover worth
$150,000 from
M-Y Home and once-in-a-lifetime trips such as:
- A fantasy PGA Golf vacation for four and a chance to go behind
the scenes at a major PGA golf tournament event in Florida;
- A Napa Valley Wine Tour for four;
- An Eco-Adventure for two in Yellowstone Park.
There will also be 1,500 pairs of 2007 Cisco Systems Bluesfest
tickets up for grabs, as well as 22 fitness packages, worth more
than $10,000, from the Ottawa Athletic Club.
Important Information
Each ticket costs $100 or 3 for $250. Only 43,700 will be sold.

in person at the Civic, General or Riverside campuses of The Ottawa
Hospital; or at any of Ottawa’s major chartered banks.
Tickets are on sale until April 12. The grand prize draw takes
place on May 2, 2007.
