Banks Step Up to the Plate for Ottawa Hospital Lottery in Time
for This Friday's Early Bird Deadline
RBC second bank to match tickets sold this
week
(OTTAWA, ONTARIO) – Four days before The
Ottawa Hospital Lottery’s Early Bird ticket sales deadline,
RBC announced that it would make a matching donation of $100 for
every ticket sold this week.
RBC is the second bank to make this offer. Earlier this week, Scotiabank
announced it would match tickets sold. These offers from RBC and
Scotiabank give Ottawa Hospital Lottery ticket buyers the power
to double their contribution to cancer care at The Ottawa Hospital.
The deadline to buy tickets for this year’s Ottawa
Hospital Lottery Early Bird Draw is Friday, March 23 at midnight.
The odds of winning are now better than ever! The Early
Bird winner will have a choice of three amazing prize packages worth
$82,000 each – the largest early bird of its kind
in Eastern Ontario.
Included in one of the packages are his-and-hers Harley-Davidson
motorcycles – a 2007 Electra Glide and 2007 Softail Deluxe.
A second option features a great Canadian rafting adventure on the
mythic Nahanni River in the Northwest Territories, a diamond necklace
and $50,000 cash. The third option includes Honda all terrain vehicles,
a Polaris snowmobile and an 18K Gold Sapphire Diamond Ring.
Proceeds from The Ottawa Hospital Lottery stay right here in our
community. Funds will go to key cancer projects at The Ottawa Hospital,
including new operating rooms at the General Campus.
The 11th edition of The Ottawa Hospital Lottery features more than
5,100 prizes in total worth more than $2.3 million.
Each ticket costs $100 or 3 for $250. Only 43,700 will be sold.
Tickets are available by calling 613-783-9550 or 1-800-853-6955;
in person at the Civic, General or Riverside campuses of
The Ottawa Hospital; or at any of Ottawa’s major chartered
