(OTTAWA, ONTARIO)
– More than 1,500 runners and walkers raised a record
$90,000 for The Ottawa Hospital at this morning’s 2007
Rattle Me Bones race at the General Campus. Now in its14th
year, Rattle Me Bones has raised $490,000 for improvements
at the Hospital to date.
“What an amazing day,” said Kent Woodhall, Race
Director and Director of Surgery at the Hospital’s General
Campus. “A great time was had by all as we raised a
record amount for the Hospital. To all the volunteers and
the supporters in the community, I can’t thank you enough.”
Proceeds from this year’s race, which was presented
by Schering-Plough Canada, will go toward patient care, and
arthritis and orthopedic research at The Ottawa Hospital.
