Winners of the 2007 Ottawa Hospital Lottery Announced
Foundation thanks community for “stepping
up to the plate” for cancer care
(OTTAWA, ONTARIO) – The Ottawa Hospital
Foundation today announced Terry Ansari of Ottawa,
(ticket number 28169), as the lucky grand prize winner of the 2007
Ottawa Hospital Lottery.
The announcement of the grand prize winner marks the official close
of this year’s Lottery. Despite a slow start, the Lottery
was able to generate a healthy return for cancer facilities and
care at The Ottawa Hospital.
“I’m very impressed with how The Ottawa Hospital’s
friends in our community – including former patients, suppliers
and the media – stepped up to plate,” said Susan Doyle,
President and CEO of The Ottawa Hospital Foundation. “They
reached out to their friends and contacts, they handed out Lottery
brochures, they bought an extra ticket or they simply talked up
the importance of The Ottawa Hospital to anyone who would listen.
Thank you, Ottawa!”

luxury Winnebago, a 2007 Dodge pick-up truck, and $500,000 cash
- Or take the $800,000 cash
