GasTOPS

For GasTOPS employees, charitable donations are music to their ears. To encourage employees to participate in payroll deductions for The Ottawa Hospital, the company drew names and awarded Ipods to three lucky employees. More than 75 per cent of employees signed on—adding up to more than $24,400 in just one year.

This generous gift helped the Hospital purchase a Stryker stretcher chair and a Bair hugger, two essential pieces of equipment that are improving patient care and saving lives at the General Campus Intensive Care Unit. With more than 1,000 patients staying in the ICU every year, it’s easy to see how this generous support from local businesses like GasTOPS will have a lifesaving impact for people in our community.
