OBI took a chair-itable approach to supporting The Ottawa Hospital. In 2006/2007, the company donated $5 to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation for every chair sold at their Colonnade Road office furniture and equipment business.

These efforts raised $54,250 toward the purchase of a cardiac patient monitor for the new Critical Care Wing at The Ottawa Hospital’s General Campus and two Chemotherapy Recliner Chairs for the new expansion of The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre.
